Le Monde has published a great series of visual articles related to the upcoming European elections.
The first article focuses on the organisation of the election, with cool illustrations that make it easier to understand.
Then, Le Monde published a thorough data investigation into the track record of the current French representatives of the European Parliament. The paper analyzed every vote since 2014 — data that was not easily available before, but which is decisive for citizens to decide who they should vote for. Everything is visual and searchable — and the database is even available as an open data resource.
Le Monde also created a guide for the 34 lists that are running in France this year (!). The format is rather simple but uses different levels of information to make it simpler. Pretty useful.
