The 2020 presidential campaign is heating up in the U.S, and the New York Times just released an excellent project to help voters out.

They interviewed 22 of the Democratic candidates on camera (only Joe Biden, the current front-runner, declined to answer!), and confronted them with a single series of policy — and sometimes personal — questions. Their answers were then packaged into short video clips, that you can explore on the NYT website.

What could have been incredibly boring turns out to be super catchy, thanks to a super-cut-style video editing and a great user experience. You can quickly compare the candidates on a wide range of issues — even if you don’t have audio turned on.
