The French daily newspaper Libération is unveiling a cool augmented-reality experience related to the upcoming European elections.
Their app ExtraPol lets users scan a campaign poster to reveal rich content about the candidate. The project is also designed to draw users regularly to the app, with new “extras” added every day.
The idea was first imagined by the Paris agency WeDoData in 2017, and this collaboration with a national news brand makes it even more interesting!
