The New York Times nails it again with a powerful feature about the Nigerian schoolgirls who were kidnapped by Boko Haram in 2014 and released in 2017. The Times met dozens of them and tells their stories with stunning photography and video.

It’s an elegant way to restore dignity to these women, once the heroes of the #BringBackOurGirls campaign. And it’s good to see this kind of special projects focusing on subjects which are too often left behind in the ever-accelerating news cycle.
